In a small three-month study to 90 patients at the Department of Food Studies at Iowa State University (USA) showed that consumption of at least 150 mg flax seed (about three tablespoons) a high cholesterol level was lower. Interestingly, the estrogen-like substance had a lignan in males only in that direction.
Tip: The "spice" called gomasio (with sea salt pounded sesame seeds) buy, with ground golden flax seed 1:1 mix and sprinkle some on many dishes. May accumulate season with 1 drop lime oil (mix well).
